Reisinger Custom Rebuilding was started in 1964 by Steve and Judy Reisinger. Business was booming, and in operation for years until injury forced Steve to slow down the pace thus leaving Reisinger Custom Rebuilding lying dormant.

Steve and Judy Reisinger have two kids Patrick and Charlotte, both with an appreciation for cars. As you can imagine Pat was around cars a lot growing up, only fueling his passion about them. He furthered his knowledge by working in a body shop when growing up, seeing as that Reisinger Custom was still dormant during this time. After establishing a family and a successful career, Pat decided he would like to restore Judy’s Model A which had been in the family for years. Not having enough time to restore a car himself, he took it to a local restoration shop. Already knowing the mechanic that worked there, Aaron Sahlahoff, he was pretty comfortable with the decision. This is also where he meet the fabricator and body man John Wellmeier. After seeing the results of the restoration he is sure what he wants to do, re-vibe the old family business. He brings up the idea to Aaron and John, already eager to try something on their own, they agree.

The result is that Reisinger Custom Rebuilding is reborn with a fresh look and a new attitude. Although Steve still comes in to help out when he can, his son Pat is carrying on the family tradition of quality work and great cars.
